Section 1.1 – Name
The name of the organization shall be Market IRL.

Section 1.2 – Purpose
Market IRL is a nonprofit organization committed to fostering creativity, leadership, and service among youth and community members. The organization provides structured volunteer opportunities in areas such as graphic design, website development, promotional media creation, and related activities. These opportunities enable participants to apply their innovative skills while earning community service hours that are eligible for recognition through the Presidential Volunteer Service Award (PVSA).

Section 2.1 – Eligibility for Participation
Membership and volunteer opportunities are open to individuals who demonstrate an interest in contributing to the organization’s mission through creative service. Participation is subject to adherence to the policies outlined in these bylaws.

Section 2.2 – Registration Process
Volunteers must sign up through the designated platform, currently SignUpGenius, by selecting an available assignment. Detailed instructions and expectations for each project will be provided via email following confirmation of registration.

Section 3.1 – Code of Conduct
All volunteers must comply with the following standards:

1. Original Work: Plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited. All submissions must reflect the volunteer’s original work.
   
   
2. Communication: Volunteers are expected to respond to official communications promptly and professionally.
   
   
3. Deadlines: Assignments must be submitted by the specified due date. Late work may result in forfeiture of volunteer hour credit.
   
   
4. Accountability: Volunteers are expected to honor their commitments. If a volunteer is unable to complete an assignment, they must notify the organization in a timely manner.
   
   

Section 3.2 – Participation Guidelines
Volunteers should select only those assignments they can reasonably complete by the due date. Signing up for multiple projects without the intent or ability to complete them is strongly discouraged. High-quality, timely submissions are required to earn service hours.

Section 4.1 – Service Hour Verification
Volunteer hours are documented and verified upon successful and satisfactory completion of assignments, as determined by Market IRL leadership.

Section 4.2 – Certificates and Awards
Volunteers who meet the program’s standards will receive a signed Market IRL Service Certificate. Qualified individuals may apply these certified hours toward the Presidential Volunteer Service Award or other applicable recognition programs.

Section 5.1 – Governance
Market IRL’s volunteer program is overseen by the organization's leadership, which reserves the right to make administrative decisions in the best interest of the organization.

Section 5.2 – Amendments
These bylaws may be amended at any time by the Market IRL Board of Directors or governing body. All active members will be notified of any material changes.
